Blue Plan-it?

Dallas McFarland and William Powers plan how to disrupt the research operations at the FMC. Dallas would disrupt the security and get viruses that can be injected into the machines. Which William, disguised as someone known to work with another incorp.

Arianna LeFevre gets contacted by her ELF contacts online to help a team who would be arriving in a few hours. A five member team needs to be met nearby and helped to meld into the local scene. Arianna is given the names of John Cobb and Willy Marshall as possible contacts. She calls John and arranges a tour in the afternoon.

The next day they go for another tour with lunch as an excuse to visit the Bonifay house and restaurant.

A hidden camera in a tree nearby, alerts Harry Bonifay of the people at his property. He calls Dallas to ask if she knows why they are there. He doesn’t understand why John didn’t tell him. She tells him, she doesn’t know anything and dismissed his call.

Aftermath, fallout, impact, outcome, upshot

Vincent Bowen is on the phone to John Watts, who wants to know if the problem (i.e George Algernon Percy) had been solved. Vincent claims that the problem is solved. Then he gets a message from Dallas McFarland to check the news. He sees the smoldering house, recognises it and hopes that George Percy is dead. A body is brought out under a white sheet, it is unclear who it is. Vincent also has reminded John Watts that they have the minimum team numbers now.

Meanwhile John Watts has set up triggers to tell him of certain types of news from the area. After seeing the news he tells Vincent he will get back to him.

The group agree to meet in Charlotte to discuss the events. Marcus Witterburg calls William Powers with an update. He is also filled about what happened to Percy, who Marcus dismisses him as English and weird for everything which happened. His mother is getting closer to the location of their research facility to a business park. Also the third group, retired middle managers have also withdrawn from importunity to go to Poseidon.

John Watts calls back, the news is out that it was George Baptist who died not Percy. He tries to convince John that Percy is dead, but without any concrete information, his words fails to persuade. The previous demand for each of them to give a guarantee for the deal for Poseidon is put aside, since he has information that would cause them problems. He asks if they really want to go and that they will have to face the last remaining contender. Vincent says yes and then is told to keep a low profile.

The group consider this as good news, since as Dallas McFarland says, it is one less obstacle and they are good at surviving. The smuggling operation is two weeks away, in the meantime they have to sabotage some of the FMC’s equipment to satisfy the condition for John Peterson joining the group for the mission. For this Dallas scouts out the building.

Vincent and William go to visit Morgan and Stanley to see can they co-operate on the sabotage mission by being given some stolen equipment in exchange for help.

George and George have some fun

George Baptist waits outside the house of George Algernon Percy, watching him leave for work and arrive after work. Managing to not bring any attention to himself. While waiting in his car, he decides to sleep for two hours, only to be woken by the sound of a hopper. So he jumps in a garden bush and watches.

Percy has been in contact with his GEO army buddies to organise an untraceable escape. He is packed and ready to go. The hopper wants to land on his lawn and comes down very close. However the manual landing is misjudged and the hopper crashes into the side of the house. The trust of flame knocks Percy on to the ground, smoke overwhelming him.

The Hopper lands properly half on the road and half on the lawn. The pilot runs out with a fire hood that has a breathing masks. Baptist runs to the hopper which he presumes is unguarded and is met by a guard with a gun at the ready and is ordered to drop his.

Percy recovers from the initial shock and begins to crawl to the back of the house. The pilot gets lost and confused in the smoke and flame and fails to find Percy. The guard gives a breathing mask to baptist to retrieve the pilot, following closely behind.

Baptist goes in and guides the pilot to the entrance, but when the pilot passes Baptist, he runs down the corridor to back of the house. The guard yells duck, fires and misses. Baptist goes into the utility room instead of the back door. Then climbs out the window.

The guard calls Percy who tells him, he is hiding in the over grown back garden. Baptist has a look, but doesn’t see him. The guard runs down the corridor, which Baptist hears and waits at the doors blindside to do an unarmed attack. The guard checks in time, sees the ambush and shoots one shot into the head for an instant kill. Then picks up Percy and brings him to the hopper.

The emergency services are on their way and chase the hopper, but they have a waiting vtol and fly low towards the Caribbean and out of harms way. After a few days in a London vet hospital, he again moves off the grid.

The new girl settles in

Arianna LeFevre settles into her place at * office. On her lunch break she goes to investigate the shooting near the FMC to rescue Marcus. They describe a big gun fight and make it sound like a war had broken out. One guy bravely tells how he came out with his shotgun and said he has bought an assault rifle for next time.

Her manager is Camile Westerhaven a semi-retired executive from ****, there to live out her remaining time in a backwater post. However, very much the professional, she does her job to the best possible standards. Getting Arianna to gather information so she knows how to make a sales pitch to the FMC.

Camiles daughter, Joanne Westerhaven has called Arianna and warnings to make sure nothing bad happens to her mother.

Meanwhile Arianna is doing further research into the events in the area. News reports about the earlier shooting in the everglades mangrove woods and the disappearance of George Algernon Percy.

Vincent Bowen went to visit Morgan and Stanley to hire an assassin to kill George Percy. Not having much money he got a new kid on the cheap for the job. He gave two days for the job to be done, but he has to talk with the boss of BHouse industries the next day to reassure him, nothing will blow back on him.

William Powers introduces his friend John Peterson to Dallas McFarland and Vincent to talk about joining the group. He makes a good impression and asks about the current situation. Vincent reassures him that the George problem has been taken care of. Since George was the leader mission and Vincent his assistant, Vincent has been promoted and is also taking the initiative to get this done. Before no clear leader emerged from the group.

Post George Planning

Vincent Bowen gets a phone call from John Watts, the BHouse boss, about George Algernon Percy. Asking if he was a danger to the trade secrets of the company. Vincent said no and assured him it would be taken care of. Since they were below the minimum team, they have two days to fix their current problems.

He meets with Dallas McFarland and William Powers. Both Vincent and William have been planning to kill George and find someone to blame it on. On of the rival groups if possible. Either the mafia admin or middle managers. But without a way to contact the mafia team, to set a trap, nothing concrete emerges. William suggests he knows someone who would like to join their mission.

William meets with his contact John Peterson and suggests he might light to join the mission. He agrees and they talk about ways to solve the George problem.

The doctor is out

Dallas McFarland, Vincent Bowen and William Powers go to look for George Algernon Percy. Dallas asks about him at the place he works and are told he was called away on an emergency close to end of the working day. She got a number for the family from the house records and wakes his mother at 3am. The mother hasn’t heard anything and becomes distraught.

They have three names and descriptions for hoods who may be open to giving information. John Russo, aspiring capo, party guy. Anthony Vella, brains. Frank Carna, muscle.*First William checks out the nightclub by satellite photo, checking the area around it. He also finds photo’s for John Russo.

They go to Miami, get an abandoned car, Dallas fixes it up. They also pick the area as a meeting place. Then without a plan walk into the club. It being early on a Friday they get past the bouncers, but get a look for not being in party cloths. William gets a nod. Inside they spot the various levels of Mafia in the booths at the side, plus the three in question.

William calls over a waiter and hands a note, which says to meet at a location for a business meeting. Then walks out. The other two follow suit. This draws attention. William looks back and the waiter is pointing to him.

They go to the place. Later a car pulls up with four hoods. William is outside the car to one side, while the other two are in the car. One of them hands him the note and asks if he gave it. William responds he didn’t come to talk to him, ‘but I came’, was the response. Behind him comes another car with three including John Russo. William is walked to him, with a thug behind him. The other two take cover and watch the two PC’s.

William asks about give information to find a friend of theirs. John asks if the friend owes money, if so that would be the answer. He doesn’t know about that. John asks for a name. When he gets it he relaxes, smiles and just gives an address and says he is being kept against his will and to listen for the screaming. They then leave.

The house is on the spit of land that is Miami beach. They go up the the mansion on open ground, lights are triggered and the door opens. A butler comes out, they ask for their George, he responds that he cannot talk about anybody present. They ask different ways and get the same answer.

Vincent sends Morgan a message asking about intrusion equipment. Hey Dude, come over, is the response. They rent two intrusion suits and some equipment to break in. They ask what the place is, and are asked if they enjoy pain, ‘Its not so bad’, no, I mean ‘enjoy’ pain. It is a place for S+M. William and Dallas sneak up, but hesitate about breaking in. He had spotted a car arrive, but the lights were not triggered. That car now leaves.

They follow the car, Vincent drives in from to force it to stop. The cars collide. They get out and face a very frightened seventy year old man. He tells them he doesn’t meet the other customers, but the place is quiet.

Dallas and William break in using her knowledge. The computer system is in three parts. The security is hardwired, but gives a map of the house. The most open is the online store etc. While customer section is encrypted. She takes a copy of the encrypted data. They find the stairs down to the basement, go through the laundry room.

In the ‘Dungeon’ they find George naked and upside down being punished. They take him out of there. In the car he explains he was called out for an emergency, but liked what he saw and stayed. Didn’t know he was missing or that four days had passed. He calls his mother and is sent to explain himself to the Charlotte police.

Planning with a map

Dallas McFarland, Vincent Bowen and William Powers meet again the next evening. In short they plan three routes like this.

A Hopper or Jumpcraft rented from Morgan and Stanley off the cargo ship then onto the Florida headland. Or by smaller cargo vessel. They have three transportation firms that could arrange it once on land. Harry Bonifay has reaches out to a contact in Tampa. They give prices for direct moving of the goods. Either as part of a consignment to Kansas city or a custom load to a destination of choice.

The middle way is to directly move the container by VTOL to Oklahoma. William reaches out to his contact who can arrange for a colleague move some ‘furniture’ back home. Allowing them to do some slight of hand. It is the fastest, but hardest to pull off since VTOL’s are watched by the US border defensive agencies.

The third way is to bring it off by normal hopper, by ship to Houston, leaving a clean run up to Oklahoma. Harry’s contact has connections to arrange the transport and paper work.

They all notice missing posters for George Algernon Percy. This makes them concerned about what is happening. Marcus Witterburg calls William to tell him if Bhouse hear about the posters they could cut their group out for being below the minimum number for the team. Also the college kids have withdrawn under pressure. He will be busy getting money for more gifts to get the location of the Bhouse servers. They debated if they should give him the money. Or at least hire him on the smuggling job.

More planning I presume

George Algernon Percy has not been answering their calls or messages.
Dallas McFarland, William Powers and Vincent Bowen meet again the next day at a Charlotte harbour pub. They discuss how the various options open to them in devising the three routes for The smuggling mission.

Dallas has done some research in Bhouse industries. Discovered it is a shelf company, the records of them are scare. The people behind have histories in keeping with what they told them. Normally a company will have some PR, while keeping the specifics of their products a secret.

William Powers has a meeting with his friend, who tells him that a hacker with the trademark of those who work with the New York Mafia has been researching their names. He is also given some other tasks to accomplish.

Vincent Bowen also has a meeting with a friend who gives him a friendly reminder of a few things.

Marcus Witterburg is back at the FMC. He wants to talk to William. He gets invited to meet them at another place after the main meeting. He is nervous and unusually quiet. The place where the research is done is still unknown to him. His mother is working on that, but she is part of the front. He acquired some gifts to get the previous information and will need to get some more. He asks have they any work. They say they’ll let him know if any comes up.

The game develops

Harry Bonifay is to be released from hospital. He has had minimal information from his wife when she visited. The room might be bugged. He orders a taxi to the bus station, but notices that a car with Mafia hoods have spotted him and follows. He gets in contact with Morgan and arranges a meeting in a restaurant. Morgan has business type e-docs on the table. He acts like a potential investor in a relaunch of the Bonifay’s restaurant. Morgan needs to whispher, play along, since Harry wants to have a straight up conversation. At the end Morgan gives Harry $1000 for a one month exclusive to do business with him. Then arranges for Vincent Bowen to fly him near where his family is staying.

Dallas McFarland, Vincent Bowen and William Powers go through a normal work day. They meet over a secure line to discuss what they do next. Nothing is decided, apart from brining Harry in to help plan the three routes and to have a face to face meeting in Port Charlotte.

Harry gets home and is filled in on what has really been happening. The family have some money but they need to start earning before the month is out. Harry gets an invitation to the meeting and agrees to go.

Vincent gets in contact with Marcus Witterburg who acts nervously. He has no new info, has been acquiring stuff to get more info from his mother. He tells him they need to find the hidden servers and the real research facility to get the required information.

George Algernon Percy is working late and hasn’t been involved in the planning. They all meet up and task Harry with planning the route. Dallas reminds them of the container size and the restrictions they are working under.

Election

Back at the FMC their absence has been noted. The people above them have noted it in different ways. Most people have the day off. The launch of the election has been set-up with the arrival of three bottlenose dolphins from Hydrospan. A stage has been put up at the dock and the university is covered in bunting and flags.

Dallas McFarland meets up with a very concerned Ralph. She calls to say she is in trouble. Then misses a meeting later that day. She insists everything is ok. He asks her to be careful and to ask if she needs help. Since she missed the previous days setup for the election she works as security checking badges and frisking down women.

George Algernon Percy meets up with his Mafia contact in the crowd, after doing the work he missed the previous day. Got into the most trouble for calling in sick. Reaffirms they are a group who just happened to come together. The Mafia guy says payback is coming so keep an eye on them. They will wait until the situation calms down first.

Vincent Bowen is meet by Sheriff Jacobs as he leaves work in the morning to enjoy a day off. He is told his absence has been noted. Vincent tells him about the mission to collect the drugs out in the swamp, but not the trip to Poseidon. He says he went to New York to party with girls. He gets made a C.I, which means he has to give fresh information every month.

William Powers meets up with his boss that night. The medical device told him he was in New York. He send remotes to check the building out. They spotted a group of college age kids come out. The company left the building that night. The boss is very dubious about the supposed mission, can’t see the angle, doubts the journey to Poseidon is true. Their mission here is to get contracts in the FMC. Any investigation of Bhouse is unlikely to receive funding. Williams suggestion for his boss to meet Morgan and Stanley will happen the next evening in a nightclub.

The election announcement is done by human and dolphin. Half of the council handed in their resignation and then the first candidates handed in the application to be a candidate. Then the dolphins give a speech about the importance of returning the sea to life, which will benefit humans and cetaceans alike. The independence needed for that, which the new council members should continue. Three main strands of political thought among the people. Strong independence from outsiders, full collaboration with governments and incorps to work with the powers that be and a middle path to find the best solution with the available options.

They all meet up with Ralph at a diner. He is courteous and charming. Gives a broad outline as to what the mission is. 40foot containers need to be brought through and send to a warehouse in the midwest. They need to scout out three separate routes that can be used. It should also be possible to switch between them. 10k has been left for them as a group to plan them out.
